About Me

I am a married mother of four, a Paralegal, and have worked in the legal field for over 20 years. As a busy mom with all four of my children participating in club sports, I understand the importance of balancing family, education, and community involvement.

I have lived in this community and school district since 2009. Through my children's experiences in the Redlands public school system—including having children who have graduated from RUSD and gone on to college—I have gained firsthand insight into the successes and challenges facing students, families, and teachers. I have seen the good, the bad, and the many changes within our education system. These experiences have given me a unique understanding of the educational journey from kindergarten through college and career readiness.

As a first-generation American whose parents did not have a formal education and did not speak English, I understand the obstacles many families face and the importance of support, communication, and opportunity for every student.

I would be honored to serve our community and earn your support.

Soy madre de cuatro hijos, estoy casada, Paralegal y he trabajado en el área de legal por más de 20 años. Como madre ocupada, con mis cuatro hijos participando en deportes competitivos, entiendo la importancia de equilibrar la familia, la educación y la participación comunitaria.

He vivido en esta comunidad y dentro de este distrito escolar desde 2009. A través de las experiencias de mis hijos en el sistema de escuelas públicas de Redlands, incluyendo hijos que se han graduado de RUSD y han continuado sus estudios universitarios, he adquirido un conocimiento directo de los éxitos y desafíos que enfrentan los estudiantes, las familias y los maestros. He visto los aspectos positivos, los desafíos y los numerosos cambios que han ocurrido dentro de nuestro sistema educativo. Estas experiencias me han brindado una comprensión única del recorrido educativo, desde el kínder hasta la universidad y la preparación profesional.

Como estadounidense de primera generación, hija de padres que no tuvieron la oportunidad de recibir una educación formal ni hablaban inglés, comprendo los obstáculos que muchas familias enfrentan y la importancia del apoyo, la comunicación y las oportunidades para cada estudiante.

Sería un honor servir a nuestra comunidad y contar con su apoyo.
